Muscle™ Becomes Stamina™ - ASM Library is Alive and Better Than Ever

MicroDexterity, Inc. of Plymouth, Michigan today announced the release of the newly revised 32-bit Stamina Library for Visual Basic and Win32 programmers.

Stamina is the new name for "The Library Formerly Known as Muscle™". The name change was made necessary by the recent acquisition of MicroHelp, Inc. by Luckman Interactive, Inc. There is no connection between MicroDexterity, Inc. and Luckman.

Stamina was written by the original programmers of the award-winning Muscle library. It contains all of the fast 32-bit assembly language code from Muscle, and now even more.

Stamina offers functions for sorting arrays and entire disk files, searching strings, arrays, files and drives; CRC and checksum calculations; date format conversions, plus more than 400 others. A complete list is available online in plain text or in Windows .HLP formats, or by calling toll-free 888-891-0700.

Stamina's functions are written in tight, 32-bit assembly language, and can be called directly from VB4, VB5, VB6, and 32-bit flavors of VBA. Many of the routines are exposed through a type library for Unicode awareness and for the fastest possible access to VB's Unicode strings. Even with all this power, the in-memory code footprint of the Stamina DLL is less than 80K.

Stamina comes with an extensive on-line reference that has embedded links to dozens of Visual Basic sample programs demonstrating its routines.

Stamina retails for $199, and availability is immediate.
